Faulting application name: TrustedInstaller.exe - Cannot see Roles
I have installed Windows server 2008R2. I installed IIS, Windows updates and I was about to install Dynamics 2011. But I cannot see anymore roles, cannnot add roles or remove roles.
Unexpected error refreshing Server Manager: The remote procedure call failed. (Exception from HRESULT:0x800706BE)
Windows Server Event Viewer says Application Error 1000
Faulting application name: TrustedInstaller.exe version...

Has the update readiness tool been run without error?
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/What-is-the-System-Update-Readiness-Tool?SignedIn=1
Then check the
%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
file for errors.
