Hi, For Windows Server 2008 R2. I brought up a server where the File and Printer Sharing Domain Rules were not applied, I had to enable them manually in Windows Firewall, but did not have to on a similar server - the rules were already applied. I installed File Server Role, have the services enable on the NIC - neither of them applied/enabled the rules What process (NIC config, Role, Feature installation) actually enables the File and Printer Sharing automatically vs. what I had to do manually?
