I am wanting to block multiple IP ranges using the Windows Firewall in Server 2003 or the mmc snap-in. I have not found a place to insert multiple ranges of IP's like for example: 41.0.0.0/8 49.0.0.0/8 Using the snap-in tool, I could add one range but there is not a edit to add in more ranges? What is the best route to protect from rouge IP ranges, I want to block some IP's from DoS and brute force attacks using the tools in Windows Server 2003. Any help would be great.

I was following a guide that stated to use the mmc -> add/remove -> IP Security Policy Management but this route did not allow me to enter multiple IP ranges or IP's just 1 at a time.

When you add a security rule switch to 'IP Filter list' page. Click Add, again Add to go to IP Filter wizard. In the 'IP Traffic Source' select 'A specific IP Address or Subnet'.
