IIS7 FTP server trouble
Hi, im running 2 servers, one running Server 2008 r2 and one running Server 2008 32bit. with IIS7 installed with FTP Publishing and the IIS 6 Managment Console. On the server 2008 R2 server, I cannot connect to the FTP server at all, not PASV and will not even fall back to ACTIVE. The other server on the other hand, 32bit, i can connect to the server via PASV mode, Both routers have a forward for port 21 to the server. And both server have a FTP Traffic-in rule enabled in the firewall and thats it. Why wont my R2 server connect PASV when everything looks the same? Thanks!

Disable the firewall and give a try. Also you can try this command. netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="FTP - In (no SSL)" action=allow protocol=TCP dir=in localport=21 For IIS / FTP troubleshooting, post here. http://forums.iis.net/1052.aspx Thanks
