Installing Windows Server 2008 Unsing Virtual Box
Am currently preparing for my MCITP in Enterprise Admin on Windows Server 2008. I've Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop - Dual Core CPU @2.00GHz 1.99GB of RAM running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. The HDD is 160GB partitioned into 50GB(containing the XP OS files) and 110GB (containing ordinary study files). The self-paced training kit am using demands installing and using Hyper-V (actually I have downloaded VirtualBox and wish to use it). All I need is how to proceed with installing the Server 2008 OS and the Virtual Box. Do I need to re-partition my HDD in anyway cos the practice tests in the study guide would need up to 3 or 4 systems. Please help me out. Thanks.

I ran into some error mounting Windows Server 2008 on VirtualBox with host Windows XP. The error says I was trying to install a 64Bit OS on a non-64Bit OS. Can anyone throw some light into this please? My Dell Inspiron 1525 is 64 Bit capable and, HDD 160GB partitioned into 50 (for XP) and the remaining currently have no OS on it. Am thinking of a better solution for running Win Srvr08 as a guest as I work towards my MCITP. How abt installing the Windows Sver 08 on the other partition, which would make it 64Bit and as such be able to mount any other 64Bit OS, like Server Core, for my training.
