Keyboard keys are malfunctioning
By accident, someone spilled a soft drink on my closed Acer aspire netbook, and now some keys on the built-in keyboard are acting very strange. the main keys having issues are M, P, 4, 6, 8, 0, Space, and a few more. Whenever i press just those keys, and i press them just once, i get something like this: M: "m0" P: "p[" 4: "\45\5" 6: "67 7: Space: " 6" So when i type anything, m0y 6com0p[uter 6typ[es 6like 6this. Also, some keys like left Ctrl, or the left arrow key change settings such as the brightness, or act as a backspace. ive tried checking the drivers, and i even took the keyboard out to clean it up (Suprisingly, there was not much on it), but nothing has changed. Is there any free or cheap solution? is the problem internal, or would a replacement work? Thanks.

Hello, Soft Drink might damaged/short circuit the internal PCB of keyboard.Put your notebook in sunlight for couple of hours and try your luck. Moreover this issue is Hardware (HW) issue. I hope you can go for replacement (last & final solution). As Santhosh said this forum is for only server related issues. For any HW issues you can contact concerning vendor(Acer in your case). Regards, Ravikumar P
