"Unable to add printer driver EasyCoder PM4i (203 dpi) - DP Win32 error code -2146500030"

The script for adding driver is here:

cscript "\\Server1\Printers\prndrvr.vbs" -a -m "EasyCoder PM4i (203 dpi) - DP" -v 3 -e "Windows x64" -h "\\Server1\Printers\Intermec_7.3.5" -i "\\Server1\Printers\Intermec_7.3.5\Intermec.inf".

Please help I am trying to sort it out without success.

This is not a scripting question. That script is a system utility.  Either post in teh platform forum or contact the printer vendor.

I would ask the vendor or your system administrator how to install printers.  We don't use those script anymore. Theyare only delivered for compatibility and testing.  Use thevendors installer and let the Windows Print Manager install the user mode drivers.

Again - your are asking in the wrong forum.

I looked up the error.  You are trying to install a driver that is not compatible with your system.  Contact thevendor for assistance.

I suspect that you already knew that thevendor installer had failed and are tryingto get around the failure.  I think your hardware may be obsolete.

I used to be a vendor for Intermec.   Look on the Intermec site for an update if one exists.  You MUST use the Intermec installer.  THe script cannot correctly install the driver.  YOu cannot attach to the printer using the script.  You must let Windows print management distribute the client mode driver.

Contact Intermec support for instructions.

You are still asking in the wrong forum. You need to ask in the Intermec forum

The error is 0x800f0242

It says that the signature on the driver or related file is invalid or non-existent./
