Lock account when idle
How to configure workstation account locked when being idle in wins server 2008?? thanks

you will find it here, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display then go to "change screen saver" and check on resume display logon screen and enter a time to be idle. thanks

Please try to better reformulate your question. "Workstatin account" is the Computer account in AD. Are your reffering to that or the user account working on the workstation? Hello, If my understanding is correct, you have a Server 2008 based domain controller and you would like to force the client computers to lock the screen when its been idle for some time. Yes, we can use GPO to achieve this. GO to User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Control Panel Display. You can choose which screensaver to use, whether to use the password protection and timeout duration etc Hope it helps.
