MSHTA and Windows 2008 Impossible?
So I have disabled UAC (User Account Control) using Local Policy. But I'm still having issues with my HTA. The language is VBScript. I can't get RegWrite to write to the registry even when I'm using ContextSwitching. I can't get GetFolder(strFolderName) to return without an exception. I run the same thing in 2003 and it all works.
So what has changed in the Scripting world for VBScript and HTA (HTML Applications - MSHTA). How do I get them to run with the Admin Token, since when I right click there is not a Run as Admin for VBS of HTA.
How has IE7 impacted Windows 2008 for Scripting and MSHTA?
