Multi-Point Server Questions
I am evaluating using Windows Multipoint Server for a small company project. Essentually they have a multi-user LOB app that runs (in multi-user mode) via terminal (RDS) sessions. I'm trying to avoid having to purchase a full fledged server and then Terminal licenses if I only have 3-4 users. Multipoint may be the way to go. Here are my questions. 1. What is the difference between Standard and Premium editions? I have not found that comparison anywhere. 2. If I were to purchase the MPS Standard does this already include any client CALS (like I usually get with SBS) or do I also need to purchase client CALS as well for my 3-4 users? 3. What are my minimum hardware specs for the server in this scenerio? The clients already have Windows 7 computers so they will RDS into the MPS server. Thanks! -Richard K
