Multimedia Audio Controller and CIF Single Chip!!
I really need some help. I reformatted my computer and have been suffering ever since. I misplaced the recovery disk provided by HP so just installed XP. I have had problems tracking down the drivers for my computer ever since.I think i have downloaded the majority, but when i look in device manager there are yellow explanation marks against Multimedia Audio Controller and also CIF Single Chip and from what i have been reading on the net these are missing drivers i need to download. HP no longer have the drivers to download for my model. Any help wanted as i'm rubbish with computer. I've always had someone to do all this for me.Model: HP Pavilion a1429.ukXP Home edition ThanksTasha

Since I don't know what hardware is in your computer (it could be listed on HP's site) I'd recommend you download the recovery kit fromhttp://www.best2serve.com/?show_flow=RCD&land=GB&lang=en&sapos_keyword=5070-1929&product_id=9113&category_id=3394They'll charge you though. Otherwise you could always check what hardware it is and search the net for the correct driver.Technet Forums Moderator | Solution Specialist | Ask The Experts IT-forum
