Hi, i'm install new SCOM 2012 R2, activated.

Then i'm trying to intall MP and it can not be loded:

Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating System (Discovery) did not pass the security verification. 
The management pack cannot be downloaded and the temporary file has been deleted.

Could not load management pack [ID=Microsoft.Windows.Server.2012.R2.Discovery, Keytoken=31bf3856ad364e35, Version=6.0.7230.0].

Hi 

you can download MP's from the Microsoft download center,mp import may fail if dependency mp are missing or version mismatch of mp. it is recommended to download from download center below.

The most update Windows OS MP is 6.0.7279.0 and you may download it and reimport the MP into SCOM

Download the management pack from the link mentioned by Roger. Post downloading extract the same and import the management pack and see if you are still getting the same error or not ?

Still getting this error( Have any idea?

Can you paste the screenshot as well here please ? Also is there any default management as well already there for Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating System (Discovery)  MP ? If yes what version is that and which version are you trying to impor

Did you try to import all MPs from Windows OS MPs or just one Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating System (Discovery)? Be sure that the Windows Server Operating System Library MP is updated\imported too.

Had a same problem. Fresh 2012 R2 Server & SCOM install. SCOM UR4 installed before importing any MP:s.

When I tried to import Core OS MP:s I got same error message:

"Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating System (Discovery) did not pass the security verification. 
The management pack cannot be downloaded and the temporary file has been deleted". I downloaded Core OS MP and imported from disk successfully. After that imported IIS MP from catalog without any problems.

Hey can you point me to this "Core OS" MP that works? I have 7296 installed, but 2012 refuses to install with the same error.

Hi. I'm reboot SCOm server and then install MP's http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9296. Try this

Never mind, I imported all MPs in the Windows Server package. 2012 will not install without the others - either 2008 or 2003.
