Odd Networking Issue
I am running Windows 2008 standard x32 w/ SP2. It is running on a VM under ESX 4.1 I am getting an odd networking issue on this machine. It was working fine, until sometime last week. There were no changes made to machine in the last
two - three weeks. The server is in a service network with ports open for AD back to the domain controller. Now it appears the machine has NO network connectivity. I am not able to ping the default gateway or other Linux and Mac servers.
The odd part however is that I am able to ping the other Windows server on the network. I am also able to ping the machine locally.
When I move the server from this vlan to my main server vlan, and update the network settings, it works fine. The event logs appear clean. I tried resetting the interface but no luck. At first I was thinking it was an activation issue,
but my DCs are also my KMS server and as mentioned it has full access through the FW.
The server is running IIS.

No all servers are on the same VLAN and network space.
The route table looks fine, however it does not seem to able able to query arp addresses. Though I am still no 100% sure on that.
