Permission delegation to helpdesk
Hi,
I want to handover file level security to helpdesk team. Is there any alternate without giving them administrative priviledge?
Thanks,

"file level security" where exactly? Do you mean to enable the helpdesk to manage some shared folders and their contents? You can always grant them permissions granullarly at the folder level (such as Full Control). This can also be done through Group Policy,
so that if you have more folders in the same locations on various servers, you enforce the permissions centrally with a GPO.
You may also need to give the helpdesk some user rights on the affected servers, such as Take Ownership (only if they need it), or Perform Volume Maintenance Tasks (again, only if they need to manage quotas, volumes etc.)
