PowerShell History
Good afternoon, I am currently writing a research paper on the history of PowerShell and was wondering if anyone had any good websites? I find this topic very interesting and currently know very little about it. Thanks for any help.

A serious treatment would include a reading of

Jeffrey Snover's "Monad Manifesto"

and

Bruce Payette's book "Windows PowerShell in Action"

Andy Oakley's book "Monad" published by O'Reilly, and in particular its Foreword by Jeffrey Snover, is worth a read by anyone interested in the history (and the initial version, v1.0, i.e. the essence) of PowerShell. (I'm looking around now to see if I can find when the Monad project started.)
