Power save
I turn my computer on, it sounds like its running normal. Then an error comes up on my screen that says, "No signal and switch to power save" and then it disappears. But the computer is still running. How can I stop that from happening so I can get on my computer. Its been days. Called Comcast and they told me it was not an internet issue and it might be a manufactures problem. Does anyone know how I can stop this? Thank you.P.S. I don't know which Forum to click on so I hope this issue gets to the right one so I can get some help. Microsoft wants to charge to speak with them and I don't have that kind of money right now. Thanks again.

Hi Terrysbeau,That should be a hardware problem.make sure the physical cable connection between the monitor and CPU is good.Better replace cable and check ,if you get the same problem,Check the vedio card and monitor for any trouble.------------Dharshan S

I cant even get to the start then run because nothing comes up on my screen at all. I have checked the cables. Even unplugged them and plugged them back in and nothing happens. Still the same message. How do you check the video card? Thank you.

hi terrysbeau, what is the version of OS your system is running , is it an Laptop ? or desktop , the error seems to much with the power save option . windows has provided GUI to manage the power options under control panel -> power option. how about booting the system in safe mode and check if the issue occurs. sainath
