Private Folder 1.0 was released as an add-on for genuine Windows XP systems, but revoked due to expected trouble within enterprise situations. You cannot download it from the Microsoft website anymore, but there are still many websites offering the software as a download. You may not receive support on this piece of add-on software. As an alternative you can use Encrypting File System (EFS) to encrypt files and folders on your Windows XP box. Note:This forum is dedicated to Windows Server 2008 questions.
