Problem in Downloading sql server 2008 enterprise from volume licensing website
I have purchased volume license from microsoft which include Windows, office and Visual studio for my university. In the download section and server subsection I tried to download SQL server 2008 enterprise edition as it was mentioned there that "volume license not required". I also confirmed from microsoft authorised representative and he said that it can be downloaded for students or research work. I tried to download it several time but it stopped midway. Please make me clear whether I can download the software from the Volume Licensing website and use it?

Hi, For SQL Server questions, you’d better post in SQL forums for answers. Where did you download the SQL Server 2008 Enterprise? Could you please tell us the link? What kind of downloader you used to download? As I know, there is a trail version of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise for developers to free download. You can download it from the following link: Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 Enterprise Evaluation Best Regards DalePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
