Hi, we have an Domaincontroller with Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX running on it. Everything worked fine. A few days ago we received the following error: > Event: NT to UNIX Password Sync Service > Event-ID: 8205 > Description: > This copy of NT to UNIX Password Synchronization is not licensed or the license > has expired. Hi, I've just encountered the same problem. The event isn't even listed in the Error EventID's for IDMU. I upgraded a 2003 server to R2. Installed IDMU, and error 8205 was the first error to be logged after Password Synchronization started. It is not updating the unixuserpassword field in AD or logging any other events. This is the first server I've upgraded to R2, and I can't continue to upgrade the balance of servers until I get this role working. Any ideas? Regards, Andre
