Question about dual mail accounts in exchange
I work at a K-12 schooldistrict and we have recently migrated to Exchange 2007. So far so good aside a couple of very minor issues. One of those is a teacher whohas bothher school Email account and her home account on Outlook 2003. Before the migration those acconts' inboxes stayed separate. Now both her school mail and personal mail go intoboth inboxes. When I look underAccount Settings, where it gives you the option to choosewhereyou would like your new mail to come in (i.e. Exchange Mailbox, Personal Folders). Obviously, she wants the Exchange mailbox for her school mail andPersonal Folders for her home mail. When I try to change it for one it seems to change it for both of heraccounts. Is there a way to do this? Also, we are in the process of going away from Office 2003 and using Office 2007. Does 2007 fix this issue?Matt Georgetti

Hello mgeorgetti,This is the default operation for Microsoft Outlook but it can be modified with rules and alerts. I would make a personal folders file (.pst) and create a rule with the following specifications: Apply this rule after the message arrives through the ________ account and on this machine only move message to the ______ folder.A+, Network+, MCSE (2000 \ 2003), MCTS, CISSP LinkedIn
