RDC randomly closing connection
I am using Microsoft RDC verison 8.0.12 on multiple iMacs and MacMinis, all running Mavericks 10.9.5 . We are connecting to a Windows Terminal Server 2003 r2. For no reason, at random times, the connection closes. You can establish the connection, and
after logging in, you can pick up right where you left off as designed. There seems to be no entry as to why in the log file, and there is no setting in the Terminal Server to disconnect connections. The application does not close or crash, the connection
simply terminates. I am happy to provide any diagnostic information requested.

Hi,
For no reason, at random times, the connection closes.
We need more information to troubleshoot this issue.
Are there any related Event Logs on the Terminal Server indicating that why the session needs to be terminated?
When remote sessions terminate, are there any messages displayed on the client?
If there is no useful message, I suggest you use Network Monitor to capture traffic on the server.
