RRAS issue
Hi, Background : Server 2003 has RRAS role [LAN router + VPN] 2 NIC , one to Cisco ADSL M/router [Internet source ] the 2nd one to private network , each time i restart the server then it get no internet and i have to restart it several times till the server get internet from M/Router Cisco and if the server get internet it stays with stable connectivity to internet no disconnection just when it restarted Any suggestion? Thanks in advance! HkR

Only register one connection for DNS. This article may help. How to enable or disable DNS updates in Windows 2000 and in Windows Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246804 Better to get rid of the confusion by removing the second NIC altogether. Hi, Thank for posting here. How the internet interface obtained IP address? And what’s the default gateway setting on this server? Please post “ ipconfig /all “ result here. Meanwhile, Please also record route table when this issue occurred and post here for further investigation.
