Hi, I have really large security logs which i need to break up and was hoping the someone could help me? The scenario is, I have an 8GB file to be split at the end of line 2,000,000 and the file to be no bigger that 500MB. (these figures may not be correct but that is the general idea of what i want to do) I have found software that can do this but not to both criteria Thanks One confused paddy
