Realtek Ethernet Driver Issue
I just installed Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and I cannot connect to the internet. It says it has issues with "realtek rtl8101 family driver Family
PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)". I downloaded the drivers from the main Realtek site and places it in \system 32\drivers and it did not work. I am using a Compaq Presario CQ62 (yes yes, I am using a laptop, I find it more convenient this way).
Thanks in advance!
Note: Also wanna point out that when the Ethernet cable is plugged in during startup and until windows starts to really turn on (I have a dual boot) the little Ethernet connected light is on

I'm guessing the NIC is integrated so you'll likely need to install the mobo chipset. You can try the Vista or Win7 chipset from Compaq but of course no garantees.

Compaqs FTP servers don't seem to be working or they don't have the drivers up anymore. Is their any external LAN card that I can use that is compatible with Server 2008?
