we are tryingwindows vista image installation through the windows 2008 server add on feature Desktop deployment on Optiplex 760 (along with 50 other 760 systems), when we enable PXE boot from BIOS and restart system, the system picks an IP from image server and starts loading a windows vista files and after that it gives two windows, one is the user name, password and domain name screen, when we type user name password and domain name and press next it is given a message the network path was not found, while other is the command prompt screen through which we can ping the server. When we ping the image server it is giving the following message Transmit failed Error code 1231. We have tried to install other 760 machines but the problem remains the same.

It seems NIC drivers are bad.Check if you have file name "Libeay32.dll" under system32 folder, if you have one rename it and copy one from NIC drivers CD and re-register file.Such issues can come up if you have third party applications like Zone Alarm, which has same shared file.Hope this helps.
