Remote and Routing Access Authentication Issue
Hi All, I have one unit of Windows Server 2008 R2 installed on vmware with Routing and Remote Access installed. The server is configured using 1 NIC, and having an public IP point to this NIC IP Address. Protocol Used: PPTP AD: Yes Perimeter Firewall: WatchGuard X500 Routing: Disabled 1) Test internal to access the VPN, working - Means connection from the internal network to the internal IP of the VPN server is working and client can connect. 2) Try to connect to the VPN over public network using public ip, have authentication error (Error 619) - Cannot authenticate the users for the vpn connection using the public IP from public network. What Have Been Done Ping of public IP points to the VPN server Port 1723 and GRE Opened from the firewall Need some assistance to resolve authentication/connection to the VPN server from public network. Cheers, Emmanuel
