Hello, I appologize if this post isnt where it should be but I wasnt sure where was appropriate. I have 2 physical servers each with 2 NICs. First with a single quad core processor and 4GB RAM Server 2008 R2 Std, Second with 2 quad core processors and 16GB RAM Server 2008 R2 Ent. The first is the PDC/File Server, and the second is a Hyper-V box with the following: Guest OS - DC/DNS Guest OS - Exchange/IIS Guest OS - BES Guest OS - WSUS/WDS/File Server/Print Server My question is am I layed out right from an organization point of view as well as a functional point of view? If I were to run Hyper-V on the first machine as well I'd need to upgrade the OS to Enterprise and upgrade its RAM. Second question is how should I setup the Network config on the VM machine? Right now Nic2 is disabled and Nic1 is shared between the VMs and the Host. Thanks for the help... Ernst.
