Hi there, I have several customers who would fit Windows Server Foundtaion but i can't find it on TechNet Download to try it out. will it be available there one day? or is there a trial version?

Hi Gray, According to this link, Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation is available through original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/foundation.aspx There isnt a trial version for Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation in TechNet/MSDN. I understand that it would be helpful to evaluation and get familiar with this product if an evaluation edition is available. I will forward your requirement and feedbacks to corresponding team. Please add my voice to those wanting to try it out - for example I want to fit 2 together either side of a WAN link using DFS - best way to try is to try!
