Hi Guys,

I've setup all the configuration needed to crawl a file share resource (it contains a few directories,  only to test this feature en 2013), but the crawl isn't working at all. The crawl starts, it takes a lot to finish and always report 0 documents crawled and 0 errors as well . I've configured a service account with permissions on the file share, and it is assigned to the search service in SharePoint.

Any ideas of what could be happening?

Hi Sudip, Thanks a lot for the fast response! I've tried the first option you mentioned, now the crawling has finished but it takes like 10 hours for a 60 MB file share for testing purposes. I'm trying to debug a little bit further why it did take so long to finish.
