Subdomain Setup Help in Windows Server 2008/IIS7
I'm new to Windows Server 2008 and IIS7 and need some help. I have a website running on Windows Server 2008 and IIS7 and I'm trying to set up a subdomain, which points to a folder/subdirectory on the site, but confused on how to set it up.For instance, I have domain.com and want subdomain.domain.com to point to the files/folder of domain.com/folder1. And when a user browses through the site, and goes away from that particular files in that folder, it will show up as domain.com. And the only case it would show up as subdomain.domain.com is when the user is browsing pages in that particular folder (domain.com/folder1).I've read around and some people say use binding in IIS, or url rewrites, but never got a clear answer.Hope this makes sense.
