Check the windows firewall on the Server. Also check if you can telnet on the server on port 3389.Also check if the port forwarding is done fine from your external FW to the server.Have you done any updates or any SP installation on the server??

Hi IsmailPlease check your domain interanl only the domain DNS server on the NIC Card, no external ones. Also make sure the machines are not multihomed with different ip's.and also run the dcdiag /v, netdiag /v on your DC to check for errors. if problem persist againg post this error.Thanks...Deva --Self-trust is the first secret of success.

Hi Ismail,Thank you for posting in windows server forums, -- I would like you to disable the 3rd party applications using msconfig and test the behavior.-- Also please do provide unedited ipconfig /all information from your server -- Is this behavior happens only with certain clients or any communication you initiate from the server ?sainath

Hi,
It seems that there is something blocking the network traffic, I suggest that you perform a clean boot on the Windows Server 2003 machine to check if the issue goes away:
1) Click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK.2) Click the General tab, click Selective Startup.3) Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes:
• Process SYSTEM.INI File • Process WIN.INI File • Load Startup Items
4) Click the Services tab, click to select the “Hide All Microsoft Services” check box, and then click Disable All.5) Click OK, and then click Restart.
