This could indicate an hardware problem, I would advice you to do the following Backup the disk if possible Ensure the Drivers and Firmware on the controller are up-to-date If the error repeats with lastest Drivers/FW then consider opening a call with hardware support, or replace the controller HTH, edwin.

Thanks for reply, But in this system D: is DVD/CD drive, so what should i do , i should replace , OR run chkdsk, because in this system it is only single drive and having C: drive. so pls tell me what should i do.

I don't think that \Device\Harddisk6\DR6 is a DVD/CD device. can you double check ?
