Hi i m getting a lot of alerts in my event viewer. What i should do. This could indicate an hardware problem, I would advice you to do the following Backup the disk if possible Ensure the Drivers and Firmware on the controller are up-to-date If the error repeats with lastest Drivers/FW then consider opening a call with hardware support, or replace the controller HTH, edwin.

Thanks for reply, But in this system D: is DVD/CD drive, so what should i do , i should replace , OR run chkdsk, because in this system it is only single drive and having C: drive. so pls tell me what should i do.

I don't think that \Device\Harddisk6\DR6 is a DVD/CD device. can you double check ?

Oh, i m sorry, By mistake, i have seen other system, actually i m taking about Actually i have two system The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block. 1 on first system i have got The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk6\DR6. 2 on second system, i have got, The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block. i m taking about second one.

Hi pawanmadan12345 I have the same errors. I traced it back. On my system it is the card reader of my Canon printer. Every time I turn on my Canon Pixma MP760, the error occurs. I ignore it and clean my log.
