Hi,
EDIT: think I found the cause, I think it's because you can't do EF Code First on Azure.
Yup, I'm a noob :)
Completely new to Azure...
I've got an MVC application which I'm trying to publish through Visual Studio, but I get the wait operation timed out error. The app was written for and works ok on a stand alone SQL Server, Entity Framework
Code First used to generate the database, over-riding Seed method to create initial data.
I do the publish thing, uploads ok - get the message 'Web App was published successfully'. Browser opens up and after a while I get the time out message, hidden in which is CreateDatabaseFromScript.
I've tried setting the timeout on the context:
((IObjectContextAdapter)Context).ObjectContext.CommandTimeout = 1800;
The full error is:
Server Error in '/' Application.The wait operation timed out
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The wait operation timed out

Any ideas on what could cause this?
Ideas on how to debug this would be welcome, I am a complete Azure noob, so out of my depth here :)
