Trust Relationship
Good afternoon,
I currently have two remote site with two different domains, domian A and domain B. Each domain had 2 domain controllers. I just recently installed a point to point connection in an attempt to join the two site together. I want to be able to browse shares on domain a from domain b and from domain b to domain a using unc paths. Do I need to merge the two domains together and can I keep them separate and setup a trust domain? I am not sure how to setup a two way trusted domain.
Can anyone advise me on what my best options are?
Thank you for any input or advise.
Regards,

Hi Tommy,If all you want to do is look at a share on a particular host, typing \\ipaddress will do the trick. Of course, you will be prompted for credentials. If you want to set up a trust relationship between the two domains, it sounds like an explicit trust is what you may want.To set up explicit trusts among domains in a forest, open MMC snap-in for Active Directory Domains and Trusts. Right-click a domain and open the property sheet. Select the Trusts tab. This tab allows you to add, edit, or delete trust relationships between the selected domain and others in the same forest.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc961481.aspxMiguel Fra / Falcon ITS
