I am trying to install .NET 3.5 on a server with 2003 Server installed. Even AJAX fails. I was able to install .NET 1.1 and 2 but no matter how I try I can not install the 3.5.

What is the error message you get when you try to install .NET3.5? is the 2k3 is SP2.

Please save the zip file (dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip) from the above link to the local Desktop and extract it.3. Double click cleanup_tool.exe to run the tool.4. Please follow the instructions given. In the "Product to cleanup:" box, please select ".NET Framework - Both versions". 5. Click "Cleanup Now" button.6. Try the below steps these what i got?Good luck.Download NET Framework 1.1 SP1 from "http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en " and save it. Download NET Framework 3.5 SP1 from " http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en" and save it. Install 1.1 SP1 first and 3.5 SP1 second. 3.5 SP1 is an installer file and will download and install 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2 as part of the package. Once you're done, you'll see 4 versions of NET Framework in the Add Or Remove Programs list.
