Team, I have been asked by a buyer of a used server whether or not I would be willing to install an evaluation copy prior to him receiving the used equipment. These are my concerns; 1. Its a used server sold as as is without software- got it...been selling used equipment with no issues.. 2. Would selling the used server with an installed version of Server 2008 violate terms and agreements? Even if the customer requests a copy to be installed for their evaluation?Cesar Luna

Apart from the legality of this, where would you get an evaluation version of Server 2008? Server 2008 R2 is the current release and 2012 is nearing release, so 2008 is well behind. Bill
