VPN Server in MS Server 2003
I have set up a VPN server on Windows Server 2003 but I can only connect with the Client laptop when I am home. How can I connect when I am on the road using another router? Please help and please provide detailed step by step instructions
or link where I can find such. Thanks a lot.

Hello,
if i understand you correct you like to connect to your home network when you outside on the internet. This sounds for me that you use at home the private ip ranges 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x. If this is the case you have to prepare your home router
with forwarding the VPN requests to your internal servers. Therefore check the router manual or contact there support.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hi,
Thanks for posting here.
First you must have an public IP address and internet connect for your Home network , after that set NAT on the internet router to share the internet connection for
home network ,after that set port forwarder on this home internet gateway router to publish VPN service that on windows server 2003 host to internet , so that you could connect VPN from internet with the home public internet address and access your internal
home resources .
