Vpn error 691
Hello,
After a working VPN connection i suddenly get the error
Error 691: no acces beacause user or password are not valid at this domain
I have used different acounts and different paswwords and i am sure i am using the right accounts and passwords, but i keep gettng this error. I also tried to reconfigure RAS, and i got the message that the server where RAS is installed is not mentioned in the security group RAS of the DHCP server. Although when i looked i did see this server in the mentioned group, i removed it and added it again.
I am using windows 2003 as a NAT/Firewall server with RAS. After a firmware upgrade of the Siemens Speedstream 5450 router i began having this problem. My PDC is a different SBS2003 server. I can see the request is comng through as it is logged in the RAS log file. But i still keep getting the error like my acount is not good, but i am sure it is.But still i keep getting this error.
What more can i do to check and resolve this error?
Thx,

Hi Johan,
Some questions whose answers might help.
1) What OS is on your client?
2) what is the authentication method that you are using? Is it enabled on the RRAS server and in the network policy on the IAS server?
3) Are you using a separate RADIUS server for authentication?
Please collect the RAS tracing logs and send them to rrasblog@microsoft.com
The procedure to collect the logs is at http://blogs.technet.com/rrasblog/archive/2005/12/22/416421.aspx
Thanks,
Janani
