When we were using 32-bit version of operating system, we used to calculate the page file size required for server based on memory installed. Now that we started using 64-bit of operating system versions which support more RAM, the question of "required" page file size is a puzzle for me now. Do we need to apply the same formula that we used to for 32-bit systems? I confidant, it is absolutely not. But not sure what is the alternate. I went through http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889654 and gained some knowledge. Before I go and try this, I would like to ask the people here to know their best practices.
