I would like to install windows 2012 Essential Server but the Software House of my line of business application says that - at the moment - the software is not guaranteed for R2 versions...

At the moment i am not able to buy NON R2 versions.... how can i do?

Is it possible to buy 2012 Essentials R2 (OEM version) and use the key on a NON R2 version?

Or... what can i do?

Firstly, product keys for Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are different.
