Considering performance, installing Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter on a laptop may be not a good idea. Please contact your laptop vendor to confirm
if Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter can work fine on this laptop, such as performance, hardware compatibility and other issues.
