Windows Server 2003 Second Domain Controller
Windows Server 2003 SP2 that has been a second domain controller for more than 12 months, can no longerbrowse the network. Neither can I map a drive to a network resource. There are no related errors recorded in either the Application or System Logs. The other domain controller can access and browse the second domain controller, and it continues to be a replication partner for the first domain controller. There were a number of MS security updates applied on the day that the issue was identified.

Business owner had apparently 'unchecked' Client for Microsoft Networks in Local Area Network Connection Properties. Your questions prompted me to examine connection properites as the server could successfully ping the other domain controller and no errors were recorded in key logs on either machine.Thank you,Dick
