Windows Server 2008 R2 Media
Does Server 2008 R2 come in a 32 bit version? I can't find the download option under my downloads.......

Note: Windows Server 2008 R2 is not available in x86 format.
x86-32 Systems
Servers with 32-bit processors are already becoming legacy systems. New servers should be deployed with a Windows Server for x86 edition only when a compelling reason exists that prevents taking full advantage of the hardware with a Windows Server 2003 x64
edition. As Windows Server 2008 R2 is not available in x86 format, you will need to downgrade to the previous Windows Server 2008 edition (fully available in 32-bit across all editions).

all editions of Windows Server are x64/ia64 processor architecture only; there are no more x86 Windows Server builds beyond Server 2008. You will, however, be able to run your x86 binaries on Windows Server. 32-bit binaries
will be dependent upon the "WoW-64" emulation layer (actually just a thin thunking layer on x64, and a full instruction set emulation layer on ia64). Software Developers will need to ensure their applications are thus compatible with
x64 Windows.

Ok then that makes sense as to why I could not find it. And you mentioned the reason why I was asking about it too - we have some software that will not run on x64. Thank you for clarifying this!!
