Hello , Hi, i need same guide line from urs , I am currently working as a windows admin and i just need Server 2008 r2 sp 1 ( enterprise edition ) troubleshooting notes for my upcoming project . please can any one help me pls . the server related issues like • Server Hang • WMI not working • Printing Issues (Like spooler hang, crash or terminate) • Software Deployment through group policy. • Terminal Services Issues (Unable to RDP, Slow Logon/Logoff Issues, TS Print Redirection etc.) • Memory Leakage or System Resource Depletionand-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]--> • COM/DCOM issues <!--[if gte n of Death, Registry or NTFS file system corruption. • Volume Shadow copy and NTBACKUP. there are many reason for server hangs, printing issues etc all above list is troubleshooted based on the errors and event id these differs from scenario to scenario for basic troubleshooting for the above list we refer technet and Kb articles which are usually helpful http://www.virmansec.com/blogs/skhairuddin

Hi vijay, Thanks for posting in Windows server forum. For troubleshooting, we need know what event IDs and errors located on event viewer. Based on this, we can find the root cause of this issue. The following is the documentation about events and errors for us troubleshooting Windows Server. It listed detailed information about Event ID and give some general solution.
