how to configure task scheduler to run in certain period of time
hi, need your guys help here. how to configure task scheduler, so that, it run in certain period of time. e.g from 7:00am until 11:00pm. btw,i'm using windows server 2008 r2.

Set start time at 07.00 AM and then stop task running for 16 hours. - daily, weekly or whatever you want? Or use the Repeat task every X minute. Depends what kind of task you want to run? Using the Server Manager -> Configuration -> Task Scheduler -> Right click Task Scheduler Library -> Select Create Task. Should give you all the options your interested in.

Hi, It works except that i do not used the "Stop task if it runs longer than: " function. Instead I used the "for a duration of: " function. clumsy me...did not notice it at the 1st place. btw, thanks for the helps,really appreciate it.

Hi All, thanks for the advices. btw, below is the setup which i've configured.  as for now, i'm testing it to run only for 1 hour. if it is ok, then i will set it as below 1.run every 5 minutes daily 2.from 7am until 11pm (16 hour)
