manage network passwords
hi all
i want when i connect to any computer in this range 10.x.y.z /8 , my computer send my credential as u1 , password:123n 2008 R2 or win 7 ? ( for example via control userpasswords2 command---> advance tab , passwords section )

Hi.
I cant recall being able to specifiy a range. I also looked at the cmdkey which you can enter userpassword connected to computers via, no luck. Either you will have to specify all ips / hostnames but with cmdkey you can atleast script it.Oscar Virot

Thanks for posting here.
On pervious Windows platforms we can use an asterisk as a "wildcard" character . But not sure on the new platforms , have you tried that ?

thank you oscar , cmdkey was nice but again for specifieng a range ( ie /8 ) , we need a way to specify a range :-(

hi tiger and thanks. unfortunately 10.0.0.0 or 10.*.*.* or \\10.0.*.* don't work ( win vista and later )
