sharing of folders
Brought up a 2003 dc with AD. Users can log in ok but are unable to share folders on the client side. each user is a member of the domainusers group. Where can I enable the sharing of folders. Is it part of the users group profile or hidden in AD. I looked in group policy but was unable to find it.

Hello, In Server 2003, there is no such a policy to disable or enable file sharing on client computers. You can make an script to run at startup to modify this registry key: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{F81E9010-6EA4-11CE-A7FF-00AA003CA9F6}] Please check: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-IE/winserverGP/thread/21f58133-416f-4fe4-8a2f-7e509bc592b5 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverGP/thread/ce6ae665-76c6-43e5-97ca-47e1c8bf9e7f Thanks ZHANG
