windows 2003 - IIS 6 Permissions
Hello everyone,
We have a client that needs the ability to manage their own sites/IIS remotely (create Virtual directories, create web sites and restart application pools).
The problem is that the client does not have Admin access account, and is not going to to.
Now, I read some articles that state that, in windows 2003 IIS 6 is not possible to give this type of permissions without granting Administrator rights to the user (in this scenario the account is a regular user).
In the other "hand" I know that are people that already implemented the ability for a regular user to perform these tasks.
My question is, how can I implement this so we can test it with the client.
Does anyone knows how to perform this task?
PS: If this is not the correct forum let me know so I can move this thread to the correct one.
Thank you all

I think it can be done by creating the user accounts and putting the in a new group, granting that group Log on Through Terminal services in local/group policy, and modifying the NTFS security to the specific folders/resources to allow them read/write/modify
capabilities, including the web apps and websites in IIS.MCTS - Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
