Hello, Is there any error provided when it fails to boot into Windows? The given information is not enough for us to tell the root cause of the problem. Not sure if its a boot issue or a file system problem. Something you might want to try. 1. Boot from a Windows Server 2008 R2 CD. Instead of Install option, click Repair your computer. 2. Select the current Windows installation, and then click Next. 3. Choose Command Prompt and run the below commands one by one. BOOTREC /FIXMBR BOOTREC /FIXBOOT Bootrec /RebuildBcd C:\boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 All Please refer to the below KB: How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 Moreover, if CHKDSK command continually finds new errors, I think its time to perform a complete hard disk diagnosis using the OEM HDD diagnose tool.
