windows server 2008 activation failed
hi, my name is jonathan, i have a problem in activation of windows server 2008, I've recently installed Windows Server 2008 for the first time. I've been getting an error message that indicates that activation has failed. However, I'm now getting a message that reads: Error code: 0x80072EE2. I've searched TechNet for the error code, but didn't find anything relevant to Windows Server 2008 activation. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance

I have similiar problems to jonathan, using the supposed 180 day eval of 2008 server R2. Installed on virtual servers to do the 70-642 course. I can ping 8.8.8.8, I have an internet connection. but everytime I attempt to activate using the blank product key fields as per the install iso, the system appears to time out and gives the same error.
